The HI-181 series features an electrode holder that fits into the base allowing measurements to be taken safely while stirring is ongoing.

Several HI-181 mini-stirrers can be placed on the laboratory bench at once, and the eleven available colours can help in identifying different samples. The durable plastic covering will resist harmful effects of accidentally spilled chemicals.

Unlike most budget priced stirrers, the HI-181 series incorporate electronic controls that allow the user to regulate the speed. In addition, a SpeedsafeTM mechanism assures that the maximum speed will never be exceeded.

Great value, compact, lightweight and extremely colourful, each Hanna stirrer is equipped with a speed sensing device coupled with a frequency voltage converter to monitor the speed and ensure optimum safety every time it is used.

Sistema Speedsafe™ 

HI181 incorpora il sistema Speedsafe™: un dispositivo di rilevamento della velocità (opto-sensore) unito ad un FVC (convertitore di tensione della frequenza) per monitorare la velocità di agitazione. Quando la velocità raggiunge un livello massimo preimpostato, il limitatore di velocità spegne il VCO (oscillatore controllato dalla tensione) per rallentare la velocità del motore. In questo modo è possibile rimuovere il campione dall’agitatore anche mentre si sta operando alla massima velocità, sennza danneggiare lo strumento. Questa funzione in genere non si trova negli agitatori convenzionali.
